Diesel Mechanic
We are currently seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and a dedication to maintaining our reputation for safety and efficiency.
Job Description: As a Diesel Mechanic at DP Curtis, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on our fleet of diesel trucks and trailers to ensure optimal performance and safety. You will work alongside experienced mechanics and technicians in a well-equipped, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic units.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and services on fleet vehicles.
- Troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools and software.
- Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of services and repairs.
- Adhere to all safety policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
- Technical certification or diploma in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering is preferred.
- Strong understanding of diesel engine components and systems.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.

* 21 years of age with at least one year of certified OTR driving experience
* Must have a valid CDL license. (benefits for some endorsements)
* No DUI or DWI violations within a 5-year period.
* No more than 3 moving violations in the past three years
* No felony convictions.
* No preventable accidents in the previous 12 months
* No drug convictions in history
* No record of truck abandonments
* Must have a current DOT physical and take a drug test upon application.
* 3 Years of verifiable references required
* Must be honest, clean, and well-groomed

Facility located in Richfield, Utah, which is in the heart of Southern Utah on the I-70, I-15 Corridor. We have an 8.8 acre yard with large shop, wash facilities, and office buildings.
We have both Contract and Common authority and have a satisfactory DOT rating.
